Conference of University Presidents


The Conference of University Presidents (CPU) is a Law association from 1901 which brings together the executive leaders of higher education and research universities and institutions in order to bring the voice and values of universities into the public debate.

It currently comprises a hundred voting members (university chancellors, heads of teacher-training colleges, Polytechnics (INP) National Institutes of Applied Sciences (INSA) and deputy heads) but also associate members.
