University of the West Indies

The c is the result of the transformation of the University of the West Indies and Guyana (created in 1982) by the Act of 25 June 2015. Established in two distinct territories: Guadeloupe, which is a region-department, and Martinique which is a territorial community, it employs 484 teacher-researchers and has more than 12,000 students.

Rooted in the Caribbean, the University of the West Indies responds to the socio-economic issues of its environment and offers an exceptional field of experimentation in a variety of areas:
