The Steering Committee consists of representatives of the Consortium's founding members; for key strategic focuses, it is advised by the AIRD and a strategic committee of partners of the CVT.
The Steering Committee meets at least twice a year and its Chairman is elected by all the members. It makes all decisions concerning the budget and the Consortium's main development focuses.
Its decisions and directions are implemented by the Director of the CVT, recruited by the Steering Committee.
With the support of the Operating Committee, the Director is responsible for leading and managing the Consortium's activities and engagement.
He implements the Steering Committee's decisions and manages all the resources made available to the CVT.
He manages the team, reports to the Steering Committee on the Consortium's activities and submits the organisation's budgets and action plan for approval.
Members are experts in the promotion and maturation of projects. It comprises the Director, theme-based specialists (members of the Consortium, independent organisations and industrial manufacturers) as well as CVT Business Developers.
It is convened by the Director who chairs the meetings to select projects and contracts for promotion, maturation, market study or any other action needed to successfully transfer and license technologies; it defines the plans of action to be implemented within this framework
This Committee assists the Director in managing the Consortium's activities, on the basis of the main focuses defined by the Steering Committee. Its members are representatives of the Cirad, the Institut Pasteur, the IRD, the Overseas Universities College and the Director.
The Operating Committee meets several times a year, at the request of the Director or one of the members; it is responsible for regularly monitoring the Consortium's activities and operation and guarantees the proper implementation of the public service.
The driving force behind the CVT, the team ensures the smooth running of the organisation, carries out its operations in the field, and meets with researchers and businesses to guarantee the best possible transfer for the technologies managed.
The team's activity and action plans are presented to the Director once a month at a group meeting.
